What is Passion Project ?

From Day 14 of "Raising 10lac for Grace Academy" Video Series on instagram , i started promoting an IDEA. It was an initiative- a thought.
Wo soch- which popped into my mind when i was editing the 14th video .


By then- We were able to raise 10 lacs . And we did it with 13 videos. So From day 14- i decided to promote the IDEA. Under which- i asked people to join with me as a voluntary force to help the schools of india make better decisions … and for this they didn't need a teaching experience ! But Only If - they thought they could teach with passion-they were in.

Initially- This was only for all the working professionals who wanted more than just weekends off ! If their work paid well but lacked purpose, here’s their chance to take a month long break and escape into doing something that truly matters. The condition was- if i get 10000 signups by the end of that series- i would form a company and will reach out to the schools with the idea !
if the schools liked the idea- we would form a company and call it “ the passion project “- aapka passion -mera project

NOTE: This Volunteering opportunity is not just for Grace Academy. It is an initiative- visioned for the schools , all over india.

After the series was over - we managed to get 7,600 signups. We didn't reach the target- but the number was HUGE .
And it only took 14 videos .

But as the goal of 10,000 signups was not met, the future of this project is in jeopardy. I understand that, 7.600 signups is still "no less". But it is what it is ! But , if in future , i get somebody who can help me contact with some schools- i will propose the idea. If they like it- we will proceed with it.

But for now- i have other projects in hand for my personal social media , which needs attention. i can't divert my focus on two different things , therefore there are no promises for now. But- if in 6 months or a year- i decide to take a break from other projects- when making a living out of social media will just be an option- then i will seriously work on "the passion project" .
